FCC Amateur Radio Testing Information

FCC Amateur Radio Exams will be given at the hamfest on Saturday. Persons who are coming solely for the purpose of taking the FCC Amateur Radio Exam will not be required to purchase a Hamfest event ticket. Those not purchasing a ticket should wait near the Ticket Booth and you will be escorted to the testing area.

    Testing Saturday Morning only

    Testing Location: East side of Auditorium stage

    Registration: 9:00AM – 9-30AM

    Testing: 9-30AM-11:30AM

You need to bring the following in order to get credit for a test. 

    -  A photocopy of your current Amateur License if already licensed.

    -  A copy of your CSCE if you have one issued within last 365 days.

    -  $15.00 fee to take the test. Cash only

    -  Photocopy of two forms of ID, One must be a picture ID if age 16 or older.

    -  You will need to know your Social Security number or FRN.
